Use of Clinical Algorithms That Have the Potential To Introduce Racial/Ethnic Bias Into Healthcare Delivery (Open for submission until 11:59 p.m. ET on April 16, 2021) The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is seeking information from the public on clinical algorithms that are used or recommended in medical practice and any evidence on clinical algorithms that may introduce bias into clinical decision making and/or influence access to care, quality of care, or health outcomes for racial and ethnic minorities and people who are socioeconomically disadvantaged. Integrating Palliative Care in Ambulatory Care of Noncancer Serious Chronic Illness: A Systematic Review (Systematic Review, released on February 11, 2021) The review evaluates availability, effectiveness, and implementation of interventions for integrating palliative care into ambulatory care for U.S.-based adults with serious life-threatening chronic illness or conditions other than cancer and their caregivers. Evaluated interventions address identification of patients, patient and caregiver education, shared decision-making tools, clinician education, and models of care.
