WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW TODAY: FRIDAY, OCTOBER 22, 2021 Hermès' ultra-classic positioning has helped sales recover rapidly from the pandemic, but there are signs of change afoot at the iconic French luxury house. Three factors explain why investors and operators are bullish on the fashion resale market, according to research by BoF Insights. Tomorrow has taken a majority stake in Martine Rose in a deal that also gives the label a stake in the brand accelerator. Major beauty founders of the '90s, including Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay's Wende Zomnir, are launching new concepts in a very different beauty market. Ermenegildo Zegna returned to profitability in the first half of 2021, after the pandemic sent sales plunging, pushing it into the red.
