Tim here.  There's a negative trend you've probably noticed lately. It's not unique, but social media definitely makes it worse. So it's my duty to send an important message to one group of people.  What's the trend?  A lot of people say they want success ... but when things get hard, they give up. Some come to the battlefield so unprepared they get annihilated. Then they face a choice: Take responsibility or blame it on others.  A good example is the crazy market we've seen in 2020.   Everyone and their dog suddenly became a trader. Robinhood opened millions of accounts. Newbies jumped in to trade the greatest 100-day period in the past 100 years.  But when things started to change, they didn't adapt. So they lost. Instead of taking a step back to ask themselves what was different, they plowed on. Trade after trade, they threw good money after bad.  Then, in desperation, they tried to find someone to blame. After all, it couldn't be their fault...  It's human nature. We want difficult things to be fast and easy.  In the penny stock niche, the illusion of easy is a dangerous game. You won't learn everything in a few weeks or months. If for no other reason than you won't experience enough market shifts. To play the long game, you must learn to adapt.     Here's gets confusing.  On one hand, it's easier to blame someone else than accept responsibility. At the same time, it's nearly impossible to blame anyone but yourself...  "It's both easy and difficult to blame somebody else? What are you talking about, Tim?" It's counterintuitive. Bear with me.  If you make a bad trade, you can't say someone else entered the buy order. If you hold and hope, it's on you. But rather than learn the lesson, many newbies become bagholding believers. When the stock goes down, they cry, "Let's crucify some short sellers today." Sometimes they win, but mostly they lose.  The one constant?  They almost never take responsibility for their own trading. They might pay lip service to personal responsibility. But deep inside, their psyche looks for an out.  "It was someone else's hot pick. They did the due diligence."  At a subconscious level, that's easier to deal with.  Because accepting responsibility for your own trades from ticker, to entry and exit, reveals...
