In a hypothetical contest, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump would be virtually tied, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released on Wednesday. The poll found that in a hypothetical general election between Biden and Trump, who are both the undisputed front-runners in their respective parties' presidential primaries, 47% of respondents would vote Biden and 46% would support Trump. In addition, 2% of respondents indicated they would vote for someone else, 3% of respondents said they were unsure, and 3% of respondents said they would not vote. Despite the fact that its past polls have shown a close race between Biden and Trump, Quinnipiac said that this is the closest polling it has conducted on the issue all year. (read more) | |

There's plenty for investors to contend with right now, including stock market volatility and uncertainty about the direction of interest rates. That's why those seeking attractive investment opportunities might want to buy in on Strong Buy stocks or those names that analysts believe can outperform the broader market in the near term. Current market conditions are ideal for what's called a stock picker's market. This is where folks choose individual stocks based on their merits rather than putting additional money into passive, broad-based equity index funds. This is not to mean that investors should stop using index funds; instead, they should take advantage of the situation to expand their stock portfolio with solid, individual stocks. To uncover good firms worth adding to one's portfolio, the bottom-up method of stock choosing is favored here over the top-down method. (read more) |

But one man is making headlines for having a meltdown of epic proportions while he was a patient in a Florida emergency department. Louis Sepesi reportedly became quite agitated while in the waiting room in a Florida emergency department. Instead of continuing to wait his turn for medical care, he decided to take matters into his own hands. According to authorities, Sepesi barged into the emergency department, pushed a patient, and then attacked a nurse. After hospital staff members were able to contain him in a room, Sepesi decided to strip naked and then rip a plumbing pipe from the wall. Here's what happened next. (read more) |

Recommended Link: Despite Joe Biden’s age, raging inflation, and his dismal 45% approval level… I believe he will not only run again next year, but could win a 2nd Presidential term… and by a LANDSLIDE. Along the way, I believe Biden could become one of the most powerful Presidents in history. How is this all possible? Well, it’s almost entirely because of a surprising July 25th “twist” that hardly anybody’s talking about right now. In short, a powerful new economic force is quietly building behind Joe Biden… and I’m confident Biden can harness this force’s inevitable wave, carrying him to a LANDSLIDE re-election win. (Here’s the data that proves it) |
