Well, Good Morning!
Let's take a look at what the day has in store for us.
So, let's dig in, shall we?
Here's What You Need To Know... Disgruntled evicted man shot and killed the real estate agent showing his home A 40-year-old real estate agent, Sara Trost, was shot and killed in Florida on Thursday. Coral Springs police said she was found in the driver's seat of her car suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and died on the scene despite getting immediate medical treatment.
Raymond Wesley Reese, 51, was taken into custody shortly after and charged with first degree murder and is being held without bond. Police have said they are trying to figure out if the shooting was related to a dispute between a tenant and landlord.
Reese reportedly thought that the realtor, who was only there to show the house, was the new owner of the house when he ambushed her while she was sitting in her car. Neighbors say Trost was a married mother of a young child who did not deserve this fate.
Will bird flu be the major pandemic next year? There's been a large bird flu outbreak in the Galilee and scientists are warning it could become a "mass disaster" for humans. Each year over half a billion migrating birds pass through the area, heading towards Africa for warmer winters.
The bird flu can be deadly if it infects people. The World Health Organization says that more than half of the 863 human cases tracked since 2003 have proven to be fatal. However, most strains of it are difficult to transmit to people. Yossi Leshem, a renowned ornithologist in Israel, says there is the ability for these viruses to mutate that could pose such a threat, as we have seen with coronavirus.
At least 5,400 wild cranes have died so far with this new bout of bird flu and Israeli authorities are worried it has the potential to be a global emergency. This is the same strain of avian flu that infected chicken coops throughout northern Israel and affected nearly 1 million birds.
Israelis have been warned not to approach any wild bird that appears sick and not to touch any sort of bird droppings. Yoav Motro, who specializes in vertebrates and locusts, said that the chances of human's catching it are slight, however the risk of dying if you do catch it is very high.
