Brazil vs. Morocco headlines another fascinating day of World Cup action.

⚽ World Cup Daily: Matchday 3 The perfect start for the USMNT. | Sebastian Frej/Getty Images The co-hosts have all had their first taste of 2026 World Cup action. Mexico’s opening day victory was followed up by a hard-fought draw for Canada, before the USMNT made an emphatic start to its campaign yesterday. Mauricio Pochettino’s side were ruthless as they stormed past Paraguay, even doing so mostly without talisman Christian Pulisic after an injury scare. We’ve had two days of fun so far but, unfortunately, two days of predictable concerns about ticket sales. Stadiums have been far from empty, although FIFA has already had to come out and defend underwhelming visuals of huge sections of empty seats at multiple games so far this summer. Still, we look ahead to today’s action. Qatar, the host in 2022, kicks off this year’s journey with a tough test against Switzerland, before Brazil looks to send an early message to the rest of the tournament favorites against dark horses Morocco. Today also brings the start of the four-game days. Haiti takes on Scotland and Australia does battle with Türkiye late into the night, rounding out what promises to be a fascinating day of action.
