When workers at a high school in Pennsylvania discovered a shipment of firearms that had been mistaken for textbooks, it was an unexpected arrival. FedEx misinterpreted the delivery address and delivered the item to Chester High School. Parents are worried about how such a blunder could occur. The weapons were 30 caliber M1 rifles, a weapon with a military aesthetic. A gun collector duly ordered them, but they never showed up at his door. Instead, the guns sat inside the Chester High School loading dock over the weekend. School staff believed the boxes contained textbooks. The FedEx driver returned to collect the package Monday but was unable to do so, as protocol calls for guns discovered on school grounds to be confiscated. (read more) |

According to an upcoming book entitled Giuliani: The Rise and Tragic Fall of America's Mayor, Rudy Giuliani used an underground tunnel to travel back and forth from Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago club. The book states this occurred when Giuliani was depressed and struggling with drinking after the 2008 Republican presidential primaries. Commentary from Giuliani's third ex-wife, Judith Giuliani, was included. She said Giuliani "dreamed of becoming president from a young age, [but] blew his big moment when it arrived" and that he fell into a clinical depression. During his time of struggle, Trump reportedly allowed the couple to stay in a bungalow across the street from Mar-a-Lago that was accessible by the underground tunnel.
