If the DOJ and FBI were hoping that raiding Mar-a-Lago would make GOP members bail on Trump like rats from a sinking ship, they were in for a surprise. Investing in top-notch blue-chip stocks during a bear market may be a surefire way to achieve profitable long-term profits. Large-cap companies at the mature stage of their business cycles often have blue-chip stocks. They have strong balance sheets, sound business models, and positive free cash flow, enabling them to pay out sizable dividends. While Serena Williams, 40, was pondering whether or not she should retire from tennis, she decided she first needed some advice from a friend…Tiger Woods. Williams has been playing tennis professionally for 27 years. She reveals that after she injured her leg at Wimbledon in 2021, she seeked out advice from Woods. "I said, 'I don't know what to do: I think I'm over it, but maybe I'm not over [tennis],' " Williams said. Tiger's response was this, "Serena, what if you just gave it two weeks? You don't have to commit to anything. You just go out on the court every day for two weeks and give it your all and see what happens." She took that advice and waited one month before returning to the court and that it felt "magical" to pick up a racket again. (read more) |
