Hey , it's Micah here and as I set out for the 4th of July weekend I was thinking... What's the strategy that's working right now? The last 6 months have been bearish, Flat out... But will the next 6 months be? We're basically halfway through the year and we should all be thinking...  "Are we going to close the year-end higher or lower than we are right now?  Here's what we know... Short term we have another interest rate talk coming in mid-July, that's only 2 weeks away and for the short term (1-3 months) we're going to see a lot of volatility expressing itself as larger than normal single-day drops combined with larger than normal spikes.  Volatility will hit us in both directions.  This makes some stocks gap at the open much farther than normal... causing people to scramble in the first hour of the day if they were caught on the wrong side. We take advantage of this and look for stocks that are gapping: 1. Above or Below a Pivot 2. Above or Below Support / Resistance Depending on how the stock opens in relationship to the above we buy calls or puts. This strategy helped us double a $50,000 account twice since November 2021.
