(There’s still time to back out, Tay—cue “Speak Now.”) In all seriousness, I’m just happy she’s happy. The ex-Celtics superstar then followed that up by going live on a moody Twitch stream Thursday night during which he admitted he felt a “lack of respect” from the organization prior to the deal. ALL TOO WELL: Celtics fan Bill Simmons found out Brown was being shipped out to Philly immediately after getting a colonoscopy. “When this trade happened at 3:20 p.m. PT, I had a camera in my a— and I had Paul George rammed up my a—,” Simmons said. That’s a feeling he’ll remember all too well. NEW ROMANTICS: The 76ers and Raptors have made the most seismic NBA trades thus far with their respective acquisitions of Brown and Kawhi Leonard. SI’s Liam McKeone took a look at whether their big-splash moves make them title contenders next season. BETTER THAN REVENGE: Caitlin Clark finished surprisingly low in WNBA All-Star player voting for the second straight year in a row. The numbers just don’t add up. YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN, KID: The PGA Tour’s next big thing is 21-year-old Jackson Koivun, who tied for 23rd place at the U.S. Open a few weeks ago. Keep an eye on him as he makes his professional debut at the annual John Deere Classic this weekend. MASTERMIND: Jordan Spieth is as Jordan Spieth does. He had the most Spieth-y moment during Thursday’s first round of the John Deere Classic when he hit his ball under a trash can and then proceeded to card an unlikely birdie.  IS IT OVER NOW?: NHL great Alex Ovechkin isn’t quite done yet. The 40-year-old inked a one-year deal with the Capitals and is set to play a 22nd season with the team that drafted him back in 2004. Ovi lives to skate another day. Late in regulation, Croatia’s Joško Gvardiol thought he scored the game-tying goal to send it to extra time, but VAR ruled it out after deeming that Croatia forward Igor Matanović appeared to flick the ball to an offsides teammate who set Gvardiol up for the goal. Here’s the controversy: Did Matanović actually touch the ball or not? A sensor in the ball says he did. Slo-mo replay videos show that only his hair may have touched the ball, but didn’t change the trajectory of it in any way. Just an all-time brutal way to go out.  FERAL FELINES: Our hot take: Americans should just be banned from commentating matches in the World Cup (looking at you, Stu Holden). Over in England, BBC commentator Danny Murphy took viewers for a ride with a wild story about his missing cat. Murphy brought up how he lost his cat Bob, prompted by Oscar Bobb playing for Norway against the Ivory Coast earlier this week. Murphy said Bob jumped in the back of a mail-carrier van and was gone, just like that. Then, during the Spain-Austria match on Thursday, Murphy finished the sad story: “We did get him back six or seven weeks later. Unfortunately he had gone feral and we couldn’t re-integrate him into the home, and he ended up living with my friend’s parents in Preston.
