Did I get detention? Of sorts. I went to boarding school so our detention was Saturday night study hall (which actually wasn't as bad as I thought).
Did I get in trouble for using swear words? Yes, but indirectly. It was an all-girls school and one time, I was in the hallway among other students cursing like a sailor (I don't even remember what the conversation was about). And a teacher came out and was like "We are ladies! We don't use language like that! Get to class!"
It got really silent and I hurried to my classroom real quick.
