No BSP rate cut just yet, economists say


The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) will likely keep the policy rate unchanged for the seventh straight meeting this week, according to the Inquirer's poll of 10 economists that showed  divided predictions over the direction of monetary policy in the country.

LRT 1 extension to Cavite operational by 2031


The last two phases of Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT 1) Cavite extension project may start construction as early as 2026 to enable operations of the entire railway by 2031, according to the Department of Transportation (DOTr).
