Hey E, Our bodies fluctuate every day. It's easy to become critical of ourselves if we don't see continual progress. Or to feel like we failed in achieving our goals if the scales go up a few pounds. But did you know that our bodies can gain and lose between 4 to 6 pounds on a daily basis just in water weight? Especially if there are changes in your sodium intake or inflammation levels. We all want to give our best to be stronger, faster and healthier. But if our sleep, nutrition, hydration and stress levels are not also dialed in then the effort we give in the gym will be negatively impacted. Your recovery routine is as important as your training routine. If you're going hard all the time - in the gym and in life - then your nervous system and adrenals don't have the chance to recover. A holistic approach that includes great sleep routines, a healthy diet, and more will keep your motivation high during those natural physical ebbs and flows. So if you go to the gym and your not as strong as you think you should be.. or run as fast.. or if the scale isn't moving the way it should.. don't get discouraged. This is your body giving you a que that you may need a bit more recovery time. Stay Ready, Mo | | Copyright © 2024 Brute Force Training No longer want to receive these emails? Unsubscribe.
