🤕 AXA's 2024 Mind Health global survey reports that due to their emotional wellbeing in the workplace, a large majority of the working population are showing a tendency towards work disengagement by becoming less involved in their tasks (38%), doing more remote work so they do not have to come to the workplace (35%), taking a sick leave (33%) or sabbatical (30%).
🤕 In the Philippines, the numbers are higher. Filipino workers are disengaging by taking training courses to change jobs (57%), working remotely (54%), or taking sick leave (50%). Also, 33% of PH respondents experienced burnout in the past year, well above the global average of 20%.
🤕 Notably, Filipino workers show a stronger preference for mental health education compared to the global average (49% vs. 36%). Furthermore, Filipino employees are more likely to seek support from their managers compared to their global counterparts (64% vs. 46%).
