The microchip boom

🚗  It's not just AI driving the semiconductor industry. The International Data Corporation predicts that the worldwide automotive semiconductor market revenue will surpass US$8.5 billion by 2027, with the compound annual growth rate (CAGR) for the 2023–2027 period reaching 7 percent.

🚗  The growth is led by the increasing popularity of electric vehicles and the advancement of automotive technology. High-performance chips are crucial for autonomous driving, touchscreen interfaces, and energy efficiency.

🚗  Along with the maturity of 5G technology and the Internet of Vehicles (IoV), the use of semiconductors in automobiles will be more extensive and profound and can transform the entire industry.
