21 Pinoys rescued from Houthi-hit ship


All but one of the 22 Filipino crew members aboard the Houthi-hit merchant ship MV Tutor were rescued on Friday evening, hours after President Marcos ordered all concerned agencies to find a way to bring them to safety.

DOTr tries to justify hike in Naia charges


The Department of Transportation (DOTr) on Saturday said the planned increases in fees and charges at the soon-to-be-privatized Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) is based on the 160-percent average increase in consumer price index (CPI) over the last 24 years.
