1115 Waiver Demonstration - Georgia Planning for Healthy Babies Amendment

On March 11, 2024, Georgia submitted an amendment to the Georgia Medicaid section 1115 demonstration entitled the "Georgia Planning for Healthy Babies". This demonstration amendment aims to provide the state with authority to permit legally responsible individuals (including legally responsible family caregivers) to be reimbursed for the provision of medically necessary personal care services to medically fragile children under age 21 enrolled in the Georgia Pediatric Program (GAPP).
