Joshua J. Joseph, MD, MPH, FAHA, is an assistant professor of medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center (OSUWMC). He is co-chair of the OSUWMC Healthy Communities Obesity and Nutrition Steering Committee and a member of the Health Equity Steering Committee. Dr. Joseph's research and community engagement focus on prevention and treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular disease through a health equity lens.

Janet G. Zappe, RN, MS, CDCES, is manager of the Diabetes Care and Education Team at OSUWMC and manager of the Scarlet and Gray Way to Diabetes Self-Management Education Program. Janet is a certified diabetes care and education specialist who has served a diverse community for 30 years, and she currently manages seven diabetes care and education specialists and two staff members serving five different locations across central Ohio.

Allan Sommer, MS, ACSM, CEP, is a wellness program manager at OSUWMC. After many years as a research scientist, Allan made a career change to hands-on health and wellness. Allan has been with OSUWMC since 2011 helping individuals meet their health and wellness goals.
