Yesterday evening, a man with a rifle opened fire in the food court of the Greenwood Park Mall. An armed civilian was able to shoot and kill the man, but not before he fatally shot three and injured two more. I know this will come as a shocker to many of you, but Kamala Harris, Vice President and queen of the word salad, had a speech writer. The operative word here is "had." Because news broke over the weekend that she's quitting. I mean, it's not like she did much. Either she wrote the really bad speeches that Kamala is notorious for, or Kamala just refused to read the actual speeches that were crafted for her. Either way, no big loss to us. But it is bad news for the Biden White House, where turnover is akin to that of a struggling McDonald's. Twitter is having a field day with it. Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, invested millions of dollars in semiconductor stock weeks before the Senate was scheduled to vote on a plan that would provide billions in subsidies to semiconductor and computer chip manufacturing firms. Paul Pelosi purchased 20,000 shares of semiconductor manufacturer Nvidia on June 17, per a financial disclosure declaration. People in Connecticut are marveling at the sight of a dolphin in the Thames River. The dolphin was first spotted in the river by two fishermen this past Thursday. Shortly after the sighting, a video was posted to Facebook showing the dolphin happily jumping in and out of the water as it swam about. Since then, several other people have spotted the dolphin in the river, which appears to be a young dolphin that could have lost its way looking for food or was accidentally separated from its pod. But just how unusual is it for a dolphin to end up in a river? And what might happen to the young dolphin if it doesn't find its way back to sea? (read more) |

Alex Murdaugh wanted his wife Maggie to meet him at the family's estate in Islandton, S.C. on June 7, 2021. He reportedly told her that his 81-year-old father's health was failing and that she needed to come see him before he passed. Sources say the couple had hit a rough patch in their marriage and she was staying at the family's beach house that was about an hour away. At first, Maggie declined and suggested they meet at the hospital instead. Eventually she agreed to meet at the house and planned to follow Alex to the hospital in her own vehicle. When she arrived, she left her car running and walked to the dog kennels where their son Paul was. The details of what happened next are still a mystery, but Maggie and Paul were both gunned down close to the kennels. On the way to the house, Maggie had reportedly texted her uneasy suspicions about her husband's behavior to one of her friends. (read more) |
