For several weeks in a row, we had nothing but bad news regarding rising gas prices. Today, however, we're happy to bring some good news. In many regions across the nation, gas prices have fallen to below $4.00 per gallon. But what do we mean by many? All in all, it translates to about 20% of them. It seems like every time you turn around, if Hollywood celebrities don't like how the political tide is turning, they threaten to renounce their citizenship and leave. But they almost never do. Above, you'll see a collage of celebrities who threatened to leave America if Trump got elected in 2016. Guess what? They all still live here. And they're still citizens. Billy Joe Armstrong, the lead singer of Green Day, is the latest example. He threatened he'd ditch America after the Dobbs decision got handed down by the Supreme Court. But guess who's still here? It's pretty clear that celebrities will do and say anything to stay relevant and claw their way back into the limelight after their heydays are over. But there's probably one more reason none of them actually go through with the threat. Can you guess what it is? (read more) |

In a heated argument in March over a lawsuit involving fossil fuel royalties, a West Virginia judge is accused of brandishing a firearm at the defense team and mocking them for having lesser weapons than him. Attorney Lauren Varnado claimed that Circuit Court Judge David Hummel Jr. initially made fun of her legal team for attempting to bring a security detail into the Wetzel County Courthouse in New Martinsville. The events of March 12 are recorded in an affidavit submitted to the Judicial Investigation Commission of West Virginia. On March 12, the security guards were barred from the courtroom, but Hummel apparently made fun of Varnado's team for first recruiting them. "Aren't me and my guns and security enough?" Hummel was alleged to have asked as he took out a Colt handgun and waved it in Varnado's team's direction. "My guns are bigger than your security's guns!" he allegedly said. Here's what happened next.
