Meetings & Workshops

The overall goal of this workshop is to identify persistent gaps in knowledge related to the interaction between the nervous system and the genitourinary system; how that interaction contributes to benign urologic diseases and disorders; and how multidisciplinary basic, translational, and clinical research can fill these gaps and ultimately enhance prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of benign urologic conditions.

The goal of the workshop is to broaden the current research field and promote multidisciplinary approaches among individuals with expertise in genetics, epigenetics, developmental biology, multi-omics, clinical phenotyping, the intrauterine environment, environmental exposures, and health disparities.

This meeting will provide a forum for exchange of new insights into UCPPS underlying mechanisms and clinical characteristics.

This multi-agency sponsored workshop will explore the role of housing insecurity in obesity-related health disparities, the evidence base for housing-related interventions to address obesity disparities, and future directions to advance health equity for all.
