It was a busy flight for one California man who was on his way from Los Angeles to Boston. So busy, in fact, that he now finds himself facing federal charges for allegedly groping not one, but two different women on a redeye flight. A flight attendant sequestered him elsewhere on the plane until they could land after the women complained. Once they landed, he was escorted off of the flight by law enforcement. So, what is he blaming for his indiscretions and what kind of punishment could he face? (read more) |

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had to put a lot of things on the chopping block for Florida's budget. Ultimately, he axed over $3,000,000,000 in a budget that had been crafted by his own fellow Republicans. Sometimes, that's just the way the cookie crumbles. But for the Tampa Bay Rays, which are now losing their $35,000,000 spring training facility, it could have crumbled a different way. "DeSantis plans to veto a $35 million legislation for a Pasco County facility that's earmarked for the Tampa Bay Rays' spring training," OutKick reported. "DeSantis's decision is in response to the Rays politicizing recent shootings in Buffalo and Uvalde ahead of a matchup with the Yankees in May." Here's what we know about their move to politicize things and how they're now paying a steep price for their activism. (read more) |

In the usually deep-blue state of Oregon, a new poll suggests that the Republican candidate for governor has a small lead in the forthcoming election. Former Oregon House Minority Leader Christine Drazan, the Republican nominee in the governor's race, holds a 2-point lead over Democratic nominee and former Speaker of the Oregon House of Representatives Tina Kotek, according to a poll conducted by Oregon-based polling firm Nelson Research between May 25 and 27. Drazan's lead is now inside the poll's 4-point margin of error, but the survey's polling data reveal that she has a number of advantages. (read more) |

The stock market is currently highly volatile, and investors remain concerned that the Federal Reserve's rate hikes could lead to a recession. Even in the best-case scenario, though, specific equities are still expensive. During a market meltdown, these expensive stocks are likely to plummet. Several stocks have already experienced a correction. Many, though, continue to be overvalued and vulnerable. A single bad earnings report can create a selloff, as we've seen with stocks like Netflix (NFLX) and Facebook (FB). Here are 3 stocks to sell before the next market crash. (read more) |

A TV station in NC is being harassed for snacks, and an email error is to blame for the hilarious ordeal. An employee at WBTV was tasked with doing a snack inventory in the station's break room, and they decided to send the snack inventory to everyone who worked at the station so they were aware of what was available. Well, everyone in the office was informed of the snack inventory, but so was every other TV journalist in the entire nation. As it turns out, the employee accidentally emailed a master list of news agencies across the entire country. The accidental email set off a rapid fire of responses from journalists nationwide who were making their snack demands known. (read more) |

What's your dream job? If you don't quite know yet, perhaps this optical illusion could give you a hint. In the picture, you should be able to spot a snail, a map, and a skull…but which one stands out to you first? Those who see the shape of the snail first will reportedly thrive in jobs where workers use their voice. This could include career paths such as teaching, public transportation, or a type of social work. Those who saw the skull first are said to be more creative…they could thrive in careers such as being an artist or a dancer. If you spotted the map first, you probably love problem-solving. A good career for these types of people could include one in the science, law, or engineering fields. (read more) |
