Elon Musk is no stranger to the folks on (or at) Twitter, and he's often stirring up the muck with one controversial tweet or another. Late Friday night, he dropped a pretty cryptic tweet that showed a graphic of Cinderella's Castle with the caption "Diabolical" at the top. The conspiracy he referenced centered on the shooting star that's often seen trailing over the castle. Which conspiracy was he talking about and is that what you see when you look? (read more) |

In just 18 months, Joe Biden has more than doubled the average price of a gallon of gas. In reaction to the historic rise in energy prices, Joe Biden enacted the Defense Production Act, to allow for the production of more solar panels. Dividend investing is popular among a wide range of investors. Still, it is especially popular with older investors, who are looking for a steady source of income to fund their retirement years. The finest dividend stocks may pay a sizable income while also increasing it over time. With inflation-hounding investors, dividend stocks may be more appealing right now. "Dividend-paying stocks tend to be more defensive and outperform growth stocks in periods of high inflation, high-interest rates, and economic uncertainty," says Elizabeth E. Evans, CFP, managing partner with Evans May Wealth, a wealth management firm in the Indianapolis area. However, how can you get the most out of dividend stocks? (read more) |

Michael Meadors, 69, is facing a total of 22 felony counts after what he allegedly did to an 8-year-old girl in his care. He has been in the St. Johns County Jail since he was arrested last July, receiving no bond after one count of sexual battery on a person under the age of 12. According to his arrest report on July 25, an 8-year-old girl was spending the night with Meadors. He was said to be a "family friend as well as the family lawyer." Meadors was said to have recorded himself walking into the bedroom where the child was sleeping and molested her. Meadors applied for disciplinary revocation without leave for readmission, which was received on April 28. Meadors was reportedly a teacher for over 20 years before becoming a lawyer. During a call with investigators listening in, Meadors admitted to molesting the young child. Here's what he had to say for himself and what the girl told him during the assault. (read more) |
