Trump may not show up on any of the primary election ballots, but don't for a second think he's not influencing them. Case in point, how Trump-endorsed candidates fared in last night's primary battles. Sure, he might not have won every single one he wanted, but there was still a lot for him to celebrate. A lot of growth investors are reeling from the aftershocks of the great crash in crypto markets over the past few days. Jim Cramer has dubbed the collapse, which started on June 13, as "Crypto Monday" and warned that it might be the beginning of a "reckoning" in the digital currency market. Cramer, who has been bullish on the rise of coins like Bitcoin, and has invested his own money into the market as well, recently sold his ether holding, breaking even on the investment. Cramer, who previously held bullish calls on popular growth stocks like Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN), Tesla, Inc. (TSLA), and Apple Inc. (AAPL), has also turned bearish on some businesses as inflation climbs and interest rates rise. (read more) | |

New Zealand has announced plans to levy a carbon tax on farmers in order to combat one of the country's significant sources of greenhouse gas emissions: barnyard animals who fart and burp excessively. New Zealand would be the first country to impose a price on agricultural emissions, making farmers responsible for the gases produced by their cows or sheep. "There is no doubt that we need to reduce the amount of methane we emit into the atmosphere, and an efficient emissions pricing scheme for agriculture will play a crucial role in achieving that," said James Shaw, New Zealand's Climate Change Minister. Feed additives can help farmers reduce the number of burps and farts produced by their animals. (read more) |

A bride in Uzbekistan is likely questioning her choice of groom after what he did at their wedding. A video that went viral shows the couple playing a game during the wedding. The bride won the game, and the groom clearly didn't take it well. That was when, in front of all the guests, he savagely struck her in the head. Even with all the people in attendance, no one tried to defend the woman. The maid of honor and best man could be seen standing awkwardly beside the couple, unsure of how to respond. Another woman eventually approached, and with help from the maid of honor, they helped the visibly upset bride walk off the stage. People on the internet are now expressing their outrage at the incident, urging the woman to leave the violent man. (read more) |
