Image source: The Mirror / Google Maps A strange strip of land, called Sandy Island, has left experts absolutely baffled.
Although it's been included on many maps (including Google Maps) for the last decade, Australian experts say it doesn't actually exist.
Supposedly located between Australia and New Caledonia, this "vanishing" island has led many scientists to sail to the region to investigate. But once they arrive, all they can find is the blue waves of the ocean.
This strange phenomenon dates back over 100 years, but what could be causing all of the confusion?

Image source: Alex Wong/Getty Images It would be a stretch to call Senator Mitt Romney "Mr. Popular" in Washington D.C. or pretty much anywhere else.
Just the fact that he's a Republican (if in name only) means he's automatically despised by about half of the country.
But after he went after Donald Trump not once, but twice in failed efforts at impeachment, he's not even well-liked among his own party members.
But things are so bad, that when he goes to Florida, he dons a disguise.
So how does he try to blend in when he's visiting his Florida vacation home?

Image source: AP Photo/Evan Vucci President Biden slammed Republicans on Wednesday in response to a leaked draft opinion indicating the Supreme Court's intention to overturn Roe v. Wade, saying the debate is "about a lot more than abortion" and warning that the "MAGA crowd" is "the most extreme political organization that's existed in recent American history."
Biden's remarks on "MAGA" come after he said last month that the GOP "ain't your father's Republican Party," warning that right-leaning candidates who know better are afraid to act for fear of losing a primary contest.
If the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade, Biden warns, topics like marriage, contraception, and other rights would be called into doubt.

Image source: American Psychological Association / Serggn When you're married, you'll usually talk about various financial issues with your spouse. But filing for Social Security benefits is one of the most important decisions you'll have to make jointly.
Working together to decide when to begin receiving retirement payments is crucial since the benefits program has specific criteria for married couples. As a result, when one spouse receives their first Social Security benefit, it may have a significant influence on the other.
This may appear perplexing, but there are three major guidelines that every married couple should be aware of.

Image source: MSN/John Peddie Florida man is at it yet again, and this time he wrecked a car worth just over $700,000.
Robert J Guarini recently purchased a 2006 Heritage Edition Ford GT and was proud for owning such a rare and expensive vehicle. That is until he totally trashed the front end of the vehicle shortly after purchasing it.
While Guarini was out for a drive, he lost control of the expensive sports car, ran off the road, and smashed it into a tree. An eyewitness captured several photos of the badly damaged car, which are heartbreaking to look at.
The impact was enough to total the front of the car and deploy several airbags in the cabin.
But even though the incident seems bad enough, the reason Guarini gave cops for wrecking the vehicle is both shocking and completely embarrassing.

There was also a backpack left nearby with treats, food, and toys inside. Rescuers took photos of the dog that ended up going viral, sparking an emotional response from people everywhere.
