Image source: Steve Marcus-Pool/Getty Images Peacock has premiered a new true-crime documentary titled Preaching Evil: A Wife on the Run with Warren Jeffs and in it, his son Wendell Jeffson and his mother and sister are sharing their story of what it was like inside of the polygamous sect.
The documentary explores how Jeffs rose to power within the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints back in the 1990s and continues on through his arrest and his conviction on accusations of assault, rape, and child abuse.
"I think what really compelled me to get our story out there is, unfortunately, there's a lot of people that get involved in these types of environments and go down a similar path," Jeffson explained. "We were very sheltered. I didn't see any outside world perspectives. And when I came out into this world, I wanted to experience all those things, but I really wanted to show people that, after I left, I didn't have to go down any harmful roads. I found a way to take those negative experiences that I've gone through and turn them into a more positive future for me."
What else did he have to say about it?

Image source: Insider In an interview that airs tonight, former President Donald Trump had some harsh words for Prince Harry and a pretty dark prediction for his future.
"Harry is whipped," Trump said. "Do you know the expression...I won't use the full expression but Harry is whipped like no other person I think I've seen."
He also expressed some distaste for Meghan Markle: "I'm not a fan and I wasn't right from the beginning. I think poor Harry is being led around by his nose. And I think he's an embarrassment. And I think she spoke badly of the royal family but in particular the Queen."
What else did he say, and how can you watch the interview?

Image source: PBS Hillary Clinton's legal troubles just took a turn for the worse.
John Durham, who is investigating the Trump Russia hoax, issued trial subpoenas for staff members of Hillary's 2016 presidential campaign and the DNC.
According to Durham, both the Clinton campaign and the DNC worked together to spread false claims that Donald Trump colluded with Russia.
Durham thinks that these organizations collaborated on several occasions to lay the groundwork for the Russian conspiracy story that dogged Trump's presidency. If that turns out to be true, then Hillary and the Democratic establishment are in big trouble.
But Clinton's lawyers are pushing back, claiming the information Durham wants is protected by attorney-client privilege. It sounds like they have something to hide.

Image source: Getty Images The consumer price index jumped by 8.5% year over year in March, the biggest dramatic increase in over 40 years. Worse, the producer price index increased by 11.2% in the month, the highest level ever. Because it's reasonable to expect producer pricing to be passed on to consumers, there doesn't appear to be much hope for shoppers in terms of inflation relief in the near future.
The current inflationary conditions are unique in history in many ways, and factors such as China's new pandemic lockdowns and food and fertilizer production disruptions as a result of Russia's invasion of Ukraine are poised to exacerbate the problem. It's enough to make you feel nauseous.
With the challenging economic situation in mind, there are several stocks that could add strength to your portfolio.

Image source: Toiletology It's not every day that someone needs to be rescued from an outhouse, but that's exactly what happened to a woman in Washington state recently.
The woman used the outhouse while visiting the top of Mount Walker in the Olympic National Forest northwest of Seattle. While she was in the outhouse, she decided to use her cell phone. And that's when all the trouble started.
Of course, she accidentally dropped her phone in the toilet, so she tried to retrieve it using a variety of methods. First, she disassembled the toilet seat and tried to reach down for it. Realizing it was too far away, she decided to get creative.
The woman had dog leashes with her, so she tried to fish out the phone with those. When that didn't work, she used the leashes to tie herself off and reach into the toilet again to try to grab the phone. Unfortunately for her, the leash system failed and she fell headfirst into the toilet.
Since the woman was visiting the park alone, she was stuck for about 20 minutes, until she finally reached her phone and called 911.
How did firefighters end up freeing her from the toilet, and was the woman injured during the ordeal?

Image source: The Delta Statement Everyone has had the thought enter their heads at least once in their lives…what happens when we die? It's something that has plagued humanity for as long as we have existed. Many believe there is a continued existence after our physical one fades away.
Historically, there have been a greater number of reported near-death experiences in recent decades versus any other time in our past. This has largely been attributed to medical interventions that have improved our ability to restore people back to life during events that would have killed them otherwise.
As we've gained more knowledge about these experiences, we have discovered that those who lived through it say there is a sense of separation from the body and a recognition of having died as well as a life review. There is also reported to be a sense of peace or of being at home which was followed by a return to life.
This tends to sync up with the recent studies that neuroscientists have presented.
Does time even exist? The answer might not be as obvious as you think (read more)
