| The RADx Tech Webinar Series Continues Please join us on Tuesday, December 7th at 2PM ET | | | | Vaccine Immunology: Pandemic Response & Preparedness The Vaccine Research Center (VRC) in the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), played a pivotal role in the discovery and development of a stabilized SARS-CoV-2 spike, based upon years of previous coronavirus research. This webinar will discuss the programs at the VRC and how they reacted promptly to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, including a new program termed 'PREMISE' (Pandemic Response Repository through Microbial and Immunologic Surveillance and Epidemiology). PREMISE would help to establish a tangible and deployable stockpile of immunological countermeasures to accelerate the response to future potential pandemic threats, potentially saving lives and reducing economic impact.
