Liberals are angry that Garland has done nothing to address the events of the January 6th protests on Capitol Hill. Progressives want the Department of Justice to prosecute Donald Trump, accusing him of instigating a riot. "Merrick Garland is seemingly sitting on his hands, doing nothing while watching democracy to die," tweeted Democratic pollster Fernand Amandi.   It's entertaining to see the left turn against Garland after making such a fuss over him when Obama tried to make him a Supreme Court justice.   After holding public hearings, the committee expects to deliver an interim report with many of its conclusions in the summer of 2022.
